It's bigger than the dimensions suggest since our beanbags have a large volume to diameter ratio to make sure they deliver COMFORT.  In other words they have been made with lots of depth for you to sink into.  And this bean bag is SO comfortable - with 2 sitting positions. 17 cubic ft. of filling with extra space for you.
