NEW TO US – I would like to give a warm and cosy welcome to our new furry friends: a range of beautiful soft, luxurious and hypoallergenic alpaca blankets and throws.
These alpaca throws and blankets are made from authentic Peruvian alpaca wool which has been hand woven by skilled artisans using ancient techniques. Ours are from a small farm on the outskirts of Lima.
Make a statement with these unique and individual throws and blankets. Each one has charming imperfections due to the source and nature of the product. We love that the alpaca’s personality shows through in each one.

We have hand picked the highest quality materials for you. The throws are lovely and very adaptable, among other things they could be used as decoration, picnic blankets, tablecloths or runners, as throws for your bed or sofa, even as a shawl or to wrap up your little ones.

Did you know…
Alpaca fur is hypoallergenic because it naturally lacks the lanolin content of sheep’s wool that some attribute to itchiness.
Baby alpaca wool is the softest, being taken during their first shearing. Subsequent shearings are as soft and warm as cashmere but are much more durable and will last for years and years.
Alpaca wool offers a superior texture to sheep’s wool, being silky and not at all scratchy or itchy.
Our beautiful designs add warmth, colour and texture and are an investment piece for your home.
About this particular beauty…
Spun from baby alpaca’s first shearing and mixed with adult fleece, this is a luxurious, soft and durable alpaca product.
This beautiful specimen measures about 165 cm by 130 cm and the tassels are made from the ends of the yarn twisted into strands and are 9cm long on each of the shorter ends.
Natural pigments are used to produce subtle colours, here we have a soft off white and the lightest of grey colourway styled with a fabulous and traditional Aztec design.
These throws are ethically sourced and the artisans have been paid a fair price for their workwomanship.
