Each of these gorgeous distressed frames (supplied with glass) is unique and handmade from reclaimed wood from South Africa. We source these distressed wooden frames and mirrors direct from Cape Town where they were made by reusing old timber from housing. Each frame is produced with a shabby-chic finish giving an individual and unique appearance often including details from their beginnings such hinge holes. Planet Craft was the first to offer these products to the UK market and we still supply the ‘genuine article’. As always, we deal direct with the talented artisans based in Cape Town.
These rustic frames are a wonderful way of adding texture and character to a bland wall. They are stunning as a standalone piece or a collection can make an interesting feature wall. They suit any room in the house, even the smallest.
We have many shapes, sizes and colours available. If you can’t find a frame to fall in love with, let Katie know what you’re looking for and she’ll do her best to find what you desire from the vast array of unique frames in our stock room. She can put a few together for you and send photos so you know exactly what you’re buying.
Alternatively, if you’re feeling spontaneous AND brave let Katie decide for you. Just supply the sizes you would like and an idea or photo of their intended destination.
Our prices are still better than similar (less lovely) frames sold in Liberty or Selfridges and include careful packaging and postage to any UK address.
Please remember each one is unique so you can’t order two of the same!
These Square Frames are about 30 cm square and house images that are about 12 cm square.
